My Reading About Orangutans (Create task) T4 W5

Hey guys this week I chose orangutans for my book choice and blog. I also made a quiz and a word search and i hope you enjoy it and did you also know that Orangutans means Human of the forest in Indonesia????

Meaning

Endangered: Animal or an object that has a very low population and might become Extinct.

Why i chose it: I chose Endangered because there are very low population Orangutans


Palm oil: cheap oil farmers buy.

Why i chose it: i chose palm oil because it has killed 50k orangutans.


Primates: A primate is a eutherian mammal constituting the taxonomic order Primates. Primates arose 85–55 million years ago first from small terrestrial mammals.

Why i chose it: i chose it because orangutans are primates and primates have thumbs finger nails and hair.


Clamber: climb or move in an awkward and laborious way, typically using both hands and feet.


Why i chose it: Because orangutans clamber a lot.


Borneo: An island

I chose it because its an island with Orangutans


Sumatra: An island

I chose it because its an island with Orangutans

Reddish-brown: reddish brown - a shade of brown with a tinge of red

I chose it because orangutans are mostly Reddish-Brown


Ripe fruit:When a fruit is ripe, it is time to pick it and eat it.

I chose it because orangutans eat a lot of Ripe fruit


Jarimanis: means ring finger in Indonesia

i chose it because its a name of an orangutan


Cheek pads: Mature male orangutans have large flappy cheek-pads, known as flanges

Chose it because big males have flappy cheek pads


Dark Brown:While it is sometimes considered dull, it also represents steadfastness.

Chose it because its a colour of some orangutans

Age:the length of time that a person has lived or a thing has existed.

Chose it because orangutans don't have a very long life time.
